Barbie Doll's and Army Soldier's

The media of today is so out of hand, teenage girls are being hypnotized into believing things that aren’t true. It all starts when we are young, when we FINALLY get that Barbie doll or Army solider we have been wanting. And of course parents get their little girls and boys these toys, because they think they’re just dolls and toy figure, which they are. But what they do not know is that Babies and Army soldier are giving young kids the idea of what a “perfect” life is. We all know that Barbie is and will always be the girl who has the “perfect life”. She’s skinny, has a cute boyfriend, has a car, has a “perfect body”, and the “perfect” tan (I think we all get it). And we all know that the Army solider guy is so tough! And NO ONE can mess with him, because he is the strongest guy. All these little girls and boys who are getting these toys for their birthday, Christmas, or any other special event, are going to start wanting to live life the way that Barbie and the Army Guy lives it. They see that Barbie and the Army Solider are happy and that she is skinny, and he is strong and tough so they automatically think that you have to be skinny to live a happy life as a girl, and for a guy you have to be Army strong to live a happy and successful life. I am not only saying that it’s only coming from toys, because it is not. It is also coming from television, and magazines. Kids don’t realize that little things like toys, televisions, magazines are making them have their own beliefs on what life should be like. Just because one see someone tall and skinny does not mean they are having the time of their life, also just because one see someone tall, big, with a lot of muscles does not mean that they are having the best life either. Everyone has their own viewpoint on what is a happy and good life! My meaning of a good life is probably different from another’s point of view. But some girl and boys out there in the world can not help but believe what they hear and see is true.

There is actually a kids book called "My beautiful Mommy", that I read during April on line. You can google it and it appears in a news article. It's written by a plastic surgen. I don't know maybe it can be useful for your future entries. ~a.c (i hope it can help :)

Barbie dolls... Yea... Toys are not the only factors that influence the mind of young kids. However, because the kids are so young that toys do shape a lot of their thoughts. This is such a good criticism that is sometimes are to point out because everyone grew up with toys and nobody likes to talk bad about toys.
